Here We Go !!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK guys....I thought this might be a fun way to encourage and discuss our troubles, cravings, successes and all that stuff.  Plus then we can add a few other "big ass" challengers.

Hey who doesn't like a support team right?

  5. Has anyone ever realized how hypervigilant about food you become when you are not supposed to be eating it!!! I packed a lunch cooler that could have fed a family of four. OF COURSE I didn't eat all of it but I just had to have it close by just in case!!!

  6. Ok, so slacking on the reporting but not the exercise. 1.5 hours every day. I even went so far as to have motivation to jog a section of my hike yesterday. For anyone who knows me... I choose not to run. I detest to run actually. But the beat was flowing and I was walking so fast I was tripping over roots every other step so I figured why not just run and pick my damn feet up. And you know? It didn't kill me. Yay!

  11. So Cutie Judy wants to figure out how she can up her excercise plan. She thinks sex should be counted..........NOT A FAIR PLAYING FIELD CUTIE JUDY!!!! Some of us don't have that option on a regular basis!!

But if you feel the need to put weights under your desk or walk on your lunch break that will count!!!
How bad do you want it? Make the change.....

Jeff, you have been on a roll for a year or so, so you are ahead of all of us!

  14. Flowed with T & J tonight. Double session for all three of us.

Meg is still on treadmill!! I might have to go to sleep and leave her down there ...

Jeff how are you rockin it?

We are all so kool, it really isn't going to be fair when we are all in tip top physical condition...

  15. I emailed Jen to see what program she has been doing, she has a 39+lb weight loss over the last three months & since Jeffy says Jeanne is the queen of WW I'm thinking she may have some tips for us down the road.
I have to say I am a bit sore from dbl sessions yesterday........now I know how Miss Holden made the field hockey team feel HA!

  16. Do you have their email addresses. Invite to blog with us. There is an invite or share icon at the top of this page. Click it and put in their email. I would love their input since Lord knows my excercise effort does not seem relative to my weight loss!!!! This is going to be a slow go for me!!!
Anyone up for a 5k challenge in March? A walk a run whatever it takes!!!!

  17. Oh Mom. That was a good night's sleep compared to Holden doubles!!!

  20. My body is loving this. I feel freakin' awesome and my favorite days are next!!! Can't wait to walk outside. My basement is depressingly grey.

  21. We need to get Meg on here. I sent Jen Agri Sanders an invite but haven't heard anything yet. I may have turned the corner today on the food thing. today was the first time I stayed within my points!! That could be a huge motivating factor for me.
Had a real heavy lifting work out today.....feel like a champ!!!

  22. Always choose the active route. “This may mean choosing a running or walking trail with more hills, parking farther away from a destination, biking instead of driving, or simply taking a longer route to a co-worker’s desk.” Says Katie Mitchell, director of exercise and research for Curves

  23. Can you guys create profiles. I don't always know who's talking with just the blogger icon and its confusing...

  24. Gee...I wonder who Cutie Judy is!

  25. Are you guys always working out inside? I highly recommend getting outside too. It is so good for your body, mind and spirit which will take you further. Happy and healthy don't come without holistic. Exercising and eating healthfully are important and essential but not strong enough on their own. Make sure you are doing those things and also drinking lots of good clean water, laughing with friends and family, getting a good amount of sleep every night, growing spiritually and finding time each day to unplug, wake up, get out of your mind and be present and grateful.

  26. Left very bundled up at 6:50 with the moon, returned from a walk with beautiful sights & sounds at 9:05 with the sun at my back. Have a good day all!!! Jeffy, football festivities here tonight if you're looking for a roadtrip ;-)

  27. Always looking for a road trip but as my roomies are off to puerto rico this morning and have entrusted their many animals to me for the next 8 days. I may be flying solo for football tonight unless of course you count my 4 ...4 legged friends.
I have been walking dogs for at least an hour a day outside on the beach or in the woods. It does make me realize how lucky I am to live in such a beautiful place. An hour in the gym throwing medicine balls and dumbells around is always a stress relieving experience!!! Have learned I can't live without it!!

Meg was the big loser again this week and I was the wimp who can't make herself work out more than 5times a week.........
    The other girlies are INSANE!

  31. Live true to yourself. One of the biggest causes of stress is trying to live n a way that’s not consistent with who you are, says Dr. Peeke, author of Body for Life for Women. Ask yourself, Am I doing what I want to do? Am I getting my needs met? Every day, run a reality check on what you’ve done. When it says that your actions aren’t true to the kind of person you are, make sure you listen. Spend time with people and on activities that make you feel happy and challenged in a healthy way – not drained or burned out.

"Regardless of any opinion or appearance to the contrary, I know that my body is designed to serve me; healing, renewing, purifying, and making me whole."
